“I find it a joy to read and also enjoy writing for pleasure,” she says. “I belong to a Writer’s Group and Book Club and make sure that I jog my cogs every day.”
She is also the carer for a member of her family suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, and has seen the need to help improve their quality of life at first-hand. She is currently working on products to help them jog their cogs to remember their cherished memories. She is particularly interested in including music in these plans, as it always brings a sparkle to the eyes and lifts the spirits of people with memory loss.
